I am as guilty, if not more, of getting extremely busy and caught up with work, my businesses and reaching toward my goals. After an especially difficult week, I was lucky to have my mother and sister come to visit me and force me to take a break. I got to put my toes in the sand and watch the sunset over the water, a sight that I’ve seen on a consistent basis since I was a kid, but still makes me awestruck every time!

So try to remember (schedule into your day if you must) to take time out of your normally crazy, hectic life to find that inner child that delights in the simplicity and magnificence of our world. It has an amazing ability to help calm, relax and gain perspective.
