We recently had the pleasure of seeing Frank McKinney at a book signing in Tampa. This was the second time I had that honor in a week. I had previously been blown away when he came to present at the monthly TWBA meeting. His story was very inspirational and motivational for me. I was most impressed by his humbleness, desire to help others and passion for sustainable development.

However, I have to admit, he earned the most points when he agreed to pose with two bears, Commander Blue and Certainty, my TWBAOnline mascot.

Thanks Frank, you are a kind and generous person. I am glad to know you!

Dating Automation?

Ever been frustrated with dating? Spent/wasted your valuable time on too many people that didn’t work out? Dating Automation?

A Legend is Born!

A couple months ago I recruited a friend of mine to accompany me for the creation of Certainty, the newest TWBAOnline mascot, since I didn’t think I could brave Build A Bear alone. I am thrilled that Commander Blue and TWBAOnline inspired the birth of Luciano Pavoturkey.

Luciano’s is going to bring the world of opera down to earth and enjoyable for everyone.

I was thrilled to be there to witness the birth of the world’s first opera turkey!

It is fun to see people’s creativity come alive! I can’t wait to see the reaction of the opera stars in Italy to Luciano.

After a year of trying to get United to remedy his claim of a broken guitar, Dave Carroll, finally brought his frustrations to the world in this YouTube music video: United Breaks Guitars.

Just 2 days after the post, United finally opened talks to try to rectify the situation! Great example of how powerful social media can be and how important it is to create a good customer experience.

I was recently connecting with other returned Peace Corps volunteers online and came across this video of an award wining film about a singer trying to inspire change through music.

I am very grateful to have had the opportunities in my life to experience a way of life and a culture very different than my own. I do not have the gift of music, but am thrilled to harness the power of the internet to hopefully inspire and raise awareness about the world around us.

Do You Have Certainty?

I had the rare joy of relaxing with my family a couple of weeks ago and my mom gave me a wonderful bit of insight that inspired the name of my new TWBAOnline mascot. My life and dreams have always centered around change; I embrace it, need it and thrive on it, because I love learning and experiencing new things. This is also a key in internet marketing, as it is a field that is continually evolving and quickly. So my mother suggested my new mascot be named Certainty, “because the only thing certain in life is change.”

So mom, thank you for reminding me of that and here is a video for you from the guys of TWBAOnline welcoming Certainty into the group.

Learn From Those That Do.

Have You Found Your Course?

It wasn’t until recently that I finally feel I found my course in life. Since I was young, I’ve worried because I never wanted what those around me did; good steady job, promotions, settled life. I grow bored easily and have never stayed in a job for much more than 2 years, nor wanted to stay in any one place for much longer than that. I was scared that there was something wrong with me and that I would never have, or worse never want to have, a “normal” life. I have now discovered that there are just different courses in life, all good, just different, and I have finally found others who are on a similar course and I know that I am not alone, that none of us are alone on our courses. I feel the photo below depicts how I feel about life’s track. Whether your the guy taking one step at a time, soaking it all in, enjoying the beauty around you and making sure that everyone is safe and secure, or the Ferrari that likes to be in the mix, creating action and challenging others, or the Audi prototype running faster than the majority would ever feel comfortable with and creating new rules, we are all on the same track just different courses, interdependent and each important.

P.S. Remember that no matter what your course is or whether you have yet to figure it out, you are not alone, you are special and our life’s track needs you! HUGS!

P.P.S. Wrecks are BAD, so please look out for others on our life’s track and let’s all work together to make sure we have a happy and safe trip!!

Unexpected Video Commentary

After Jay Turner and Barbara Grassey spoke at TBREIA Brandon, I wanted to get a tip from the famous…infamous?…Jay Turner about the importance of internet marketing. He provided some interesting information, as I can always count on him to do. Yet is was his last statement before I turned the camera off, that caught me off guard and made me laugh. Thanks for loving me anyway!

P.S. Don’t take yourself too seriously! Life is so much more fun if you roll with it and can laugh at yourself.

Unexpected Video Commentary

Do You Know the Right Question?

I have always thought that it never hurts to ask, because you will never end up worse off than you were before you asked and if it works out, well, you will get what you want! So, while dragging my good friend Sara and her dad around to every little thing that caught eye while at the American Le Mans (which for someone who seems to have A.D.D. is a LOT!), I suddenly made beeline for a fenced off area that caged several amazing cars. When we got to the gate we discovered it was a private pass only area. Sara then asked if we could just go in to get a closer look at the cars right inside. We flashed sweet smiles and they let us in! So while dripping drool over some interesting car I had never seen before, the owner came up told us the history of the car and let us hop in. And if I ever want to build one of these I now know where to go!

P.S. I challenge you to ask for just one thing this week that you want but would not be inclined to ask for. HUGS!
